Christine Thornton

Christine Thornton is the director of Groupworks. A UKCP-registered psychotherapist and a Member of the Institute of Group Analysis (M.Inst.G.A), Christine has many years experience of helping people one-to-one and in small groups, including personal therapy and professional development groups. She is national Clinical Director of icap, the Irish psychotherapy organisation www.icap.org.uk Christine holds an MSc in Psychology and is a double-qualified supervisor and member of the British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision (BAPPS).

Christine is the author of several books and papers,  listed under the publications link, with extracts that can be downloaded from our free resources page.  Her latest book explains how the principles of group analysis apply to coaching teams and groups in organisations.  It is Group and team coaching [Routledge, March 2010], available from Amazon and all good booksellers.
